NEWS FLASH ! NEWS FLASH ! PLEASE READ...

If anyone wants to book a room by phone for Coventry outside of working hours (9-5) they will be put through to the central booking office which will tell them that they can only book for "3 nights" in October for our reunion. I have just had to contact the hotel to sort out someones booking, it is possible to book for 1, 2 or 3 nights but you need to speak to Samantha Fisher when calling the hotel during working hours.

Please read Q & A's before booking for the reunion. Just to make sure everyone is clear on parking etc....... ( Below) Then visit the Coventry Reunion page(above).

The 'Free' Coach trip to Stratford-upon-avon, will depend on Numbers. remember to ask/confirm this with the hotel, at time of booking

Dave Basnett going south again.

As most of you are aware, Dave Basnett & good wife, are on their trip to the south atlantic. Dave will place wreath on the grave of Felix Artuso on behalf of all of us. When I get Dave's reports & photo's in. I will post them here.

Fellas, Just browsing and reminiscing and came across the site, dunno if you remember me, Kevin Morby AB Gunner, joined from Pompey field gun in 78 and left for civvy street in 79, Remember Dave Leen / John Bowen were all from the same estate here in the Boro [Middlesbrough] other names spring to mind. George O'Donnell , slugger storey boxer. we had a wicked football team with CPTI robson I believe he was also a native of the Boro. I returned just days after you got back from Falklands as Boro were away to Pompey and there was still a few old faces. anyway just thought I'd chip in with some useless info.

hi have heard about reunion in coventry .me and another shipmate tony bott would like to attend .due to the fact that we are local we wont need to stay at the hotel .could you if at all posible send some iformation on the reunion and cost per head excluding hotel.we will also need to rejoin as i think our membership has lapsed. look forward to hearing from you regards
