Going south Part 2

Mac & Antrim

Had a great time in Grytvicken. The laying of the wreath and plaque went well and was well received by the island government.  Artuso’s  grave is the 2nd most important after Shackleton and is well mentioned on the tourist information  plaque.

There is a fair display of the argy war etc,  in the museum there.

They do not have a ships crest so I think we should send them one to display.

They would also like to have any photos of the funeral of Artuso and any others we can muster of our time in South Georgia.

We need to rustle up a copy of the photo of the two steamer ducks we brought back for the team leader of the lecturers.

BY the way

HAPPY NEW YEAR
